I appreciate your tamil love. Only it is blind. And also idiotic love of tamil. In every language there is word home and house. In hindi also it is Ghar and makkan.In tamil it is veedu and agam. All dravidians and atheists use word kuralagam, arivagam , anbagam, Thayagam etc.

Your hatred for sanskrit for no reason is making you to write such blogs.

இதில் காதை ஸ்பீக்கர் என்று சொல்லி இருப்பது ஒரு நகைச்சுவைக்காக. அதற்கு இவ்ளோ பெரிய பதிவா என எனக்கு சிரிப்புதான் வந்தது. மேலும் தினமலரின் தமிழ் சேவையை தயவுசெய்து குறைத்து மதிபிடாதீர்கள். அவர்களின் சிறுவர்மலர் படிக்காமல் எந்த்தனை பேர் உங்களின் சிறுவயதில் இருந்துருப்பீர்கள். சொல்லுங்கள் பார்ப்போம். நானெல்லாம் தமிழ் படிக்க கற்றுகொண்டதே சிறுவர்மலர் படித்துதான்.

இப்போது ஒரு கூட்டம் இருக்கிறது சோ.ராமசாமி எழுதிய கருத்து பிடிக்கவில்லை என்றால் அவர் கருத்தை பற்றி பேசாமல் அவர் பிறந்த இனத்தைப்பற்றி கேவலமாக பேசுவது. இவர்களால் இதேபோல் ஒரு முஸ்லீமையோ ஒரு கிருஸ்துவரையோ பேச எழுத முடியாது... ***** அறுத்துவிடுவார்கள்!!!!

தமிழை உபயோகிங்கனு சொல்லுரதெல்லாம் சரி தான். அதனை விளக்க தப்பானா செய்தியை தேர்ந்தெடுத்துள்ளீர். ஒரு மருத்துவர் குண்டு வெடிப்பால் அடிபடுகிறார். அவருக்கு ஸ்பீக்கர் அவுட் என்பது முதலில் அநாகரீகத்தின் உச்ச கட்டம். இப்படி எழுதும் பத்திரிக்கையாளர் வீட்டில் மரணம் நிகழ்ந்தால் எப்படி தலையங்கம் எழுதுவார்? நீங்க அநாகரீகத்தைக் கண்டிக்கலை என்பது வருந்தத்தக்கது.

தமிழுக்கு வக்காளத்தெல்லாம் வேண்டாம். ஆங்கிலம் கலப்பை விரும்பாதவர்கள் அந்த பத்திரிக்கையை தானே நிராகரிப்பார்கள். உங்களுக்கு எப்படி பொது சிந்தனையுள்ளதொ அது போல் மற்றவர்களுக்குமுண்டு என்பதை நம்புவோம்.

மொழிவளர பிறமொழி சொற்களை அறவனைக்க வேண்டும். ஒதுக்கக் கூடாது. ஆங்கிலம் இவ்வளவு செழுமையாக இருக்க இது ஒரு முக்கிய காரணம்.

ஆங்கில‌த்தில் பேசினால் ஆங்கில‌த்திலேயே பேசு. த‌மிழில் பேசினால் த‌மிழிலேயே பேசு. ஏன் இர‌ண்டையும் க‌ல‌க்கிறாய் என்ப‌துதான் என‌து கேள்வி.

proper nouns need not be translated... not only names.. most of the scientific terms are termed in english.. many many words are coined in english... which, now a days getting Tamil names.. thanks to the gr8 gr8 so called scolars..
example.. "Posting" "blog" etc.. etc.. these were introduced by foreigners.. wen u want to use it.. wats wrong in using it as it is?? y u want to give a name in Tamil??? wen we accept, proper nouns and foreign names can be in english or wat ever language itself, y not these terms too??
moreover, அடுத்தவன் பிள்ளைக்கு நாம initial குடுப்பது போல் கேவலமா இருக்கு..

A feed-backer questions whether the name ‘Joseph’ is Tamil. No doubt, Joseph is not Tamil. But names are given to us by our parents; and it is their business with which no can interfere. We have to bear the names given to us by our parents. Of course, certain people go for changes in their given names, later in their lives, believing astrology, or for other reasons, through legal means, that is, by publishing the name-changes in the official gazette. Generally, we continue with the names given to us. Our anonymous feed-backer puts the blame on the bearer of the names. Names like Joseph are religious names; if one’s religion has not originated in TN, the names that come from such religion, won’t be Tamil names, will they? Now, can we change such names because the religion is from another country? The names indicate one’s belief in such religion. It is, therefore, preposterous to talk about proper names of persons pejoratively.

My name is, actually, Eenapp paraiyan. But, I changed it to vezha.paraiyan. The name was given to me by my parents, which, I changed only slightly. Whether I like this name or not is totally immaterial to me; because, for me, name is just a facilitator for records and for others to call. Names do not add up anything more to you. Dinamalar is complete trash, they feel if they use a lot of words used by Tamil comedians, they will be able to reach the masses easier. I believe Dinamani is a better Tamil newspaper, which hasn't caught up on sales against Dinamalam!
